BLESSING OF THE BACKPACKS – AUGUST 29, 2021

On August 29, 2021, St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church will partner with FORME Medical Center to host a Back-to-School event for the community.  The event will begin at 12:00 pm and run through 3:00 pm following our Sunday morning service.  We are excited to share with all of you and the extended community as we plan on serving over 300 people during the three hours by providing them with ice cream, food, refreshments, music entertainment, backpacks with school supplies (for the children), health insurance materials, FORME Medical Center information and information about St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church.   We will also have a brief bilingual prayer service/blessing for the children as they begin their academic school year.

Join us for worship at 10:30 am and stay after to enjoy the festivities as we welcome the community and help kick off the upcoming school year.
